The European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance (ESSNA) has created new sports nutrition factsheets to celebrate the European Week of Sport and help people #BeActive.
The factsheets will cover crucial sports nutrition ingredients including Protein, Creatine and Collagen and have been created in collaboration with experts from ESSNA member companies: Graeme Close, Professor of Human Physiology at Liverpool John Moores University and Lead Nutritionist at Nutrition X; and Suzane Leser, Director of Nutrition Communication at GELITA.
Run by the European Commission, the European Week of Sport is an annual week long celebration from the 23rd to the 30th September, promoting the benefits of living healthier, more active lifestyles.
Dr Adam Carey, Chair of ESSNA said: “The European Week of Sport is an opportunity to share our love of sport and physical activity and show people that changes to your lifestyle don’t have to be drastic to have a big impact.
“Sports nutrition products can support people to achieve their exercise goals, but only if consumers know how to use them effectively. It is our hope that these factsheets will be useful tools, helping support more people to use sports nutrition to be and stay active.”

This material is designed to assist by outlining the most effective and safe ways to stay fit and healthy, written by a wide range of experts from the sports nutrition sector.
