Dr. Adam Carey, Chair of ESSNA, said:

The ESSNA regulatory event is an opportunity for sector leaders to meet, learn about and share ideas on some of the most relevant issues affecting sports nutrition today. Our industry is changing and innovating all the time, so it is vital that we are able to bring together businesses and stakeholders from across Europe to discuss what the future holds. This event will fill a gap in the event calendar by bringing together policy-makers and stakeholders from across the sports and active nutrition sector to engage in thought-provoking discussions on some of the most pertinent EU and UK regulatory initiatives ESSNA is delighted to present this one-of-a-kind conference which will dig deep into how European legislation has affected our sector to date, what’s in store for our future, and how businesses can make the most of the changes.”

“ESSNA has always fought for fair and proportional sports nutrition regulation that allows the industry to thrive. Our conference brings that goal into a public forum, where our members and other sports nutrition companies can contribute to positive change and growth.”

About the European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance

With approximately 35 companies from across Europe, the European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance (ESSNA) acts as a forum for discussion and a vehicle for action for the sports nutrition sector by working closely with legislators, regulators, and enforcement bodies to ensure that the sports nutrition products are safe, effective, easily available and transparent. ESSNA monitors the industry, reporting irresponsible companies that flout EU law and may put consumers at potential risk from dangerous products, and works to better educate the public on the responsible and safe approaches to sports nutrition.
