The European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance is delighted to announced it has has been shortlisted for two Association Excellence Awards for its Covid-19 Resource Hub.
The Awards celebrate the work which associations, trade organisations, unions and industry bodies do for and on behalf of their members. ESSNA is a finalist in the categories for Best Association Newsletter, Blog or Online Resource and Best Membership Support During Covid-19 (Under 800 Members).

Dr Adam Carey, Chair of ESSNA, said:
“We’re really pleased with these nominations as a testament to ESSNA’s hard work supporting our members through the coronavirus crisis, as well as to the resilience of the whole sports nutrition industry.
“The past year has been a difficult one for the sports nutrition industry as many aspects of public health, like sports and exercise, were restricted in order to keep people safe.
“But throughout the pandemic, sports nutrition businesses have risen to the challenge of adapting to their customers’ lifestyle and business changes, and we are proud to have supported our members in doing this.”
ESSNA informs the public on all things sports and active nutrition through its consumer education campaign. The public can refer to ESSNA’s online resource hub for more information on everything sports nutrition related. In addition, ESSNA has a separate website dedicated wholly to protein.
ESSNA’s kitemark helps the public identify products belonging to ESSNA members. ESSNA members sign up to its strict Code of Conduct, making a promise to the consumer that all their products comply fully with the European legislation put in place for their protection.
